In 2008, Harvest Church outgrew their building in Alvarado. God sovereignly and graciously led us to our present location, the ‘Old Opera House’ in Warren. We have renovated the building – it is now inviting and cozy! Our heart at Harvest is to love God and love people.
Eric has been a part of the Great Commission Churches since 1987. Over the last four decades, he has been actively involved in church activities from teaching Sunday School to leading youth groups to organizing retreats and hosting Bible studies. He served as a deacon for over 15 years at Cottonwood Community Church of Grand Forks, ND. In 2006, he and his wife were sent to pastor Harvest Church. He is known for his practical wisdom and honest transparency. His heart is to see people come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
Eric has been married to his wonderful wife, Jacki, since 1985. Each week she is busy serving at Harvest and in the community. They are blessed to have five children. Many serve at Harvest and two son-in-laws who lead worship on Sundays. Most of their children live in Warren: Chris, Josh, Britta & Jordon (Aveya & Rowik), Jessica & Luke (Kira, Emilyn, Taivin & Judah). Tyler and Mirna (Aurora) are living in the Twin Cities and serve at Evergreen Church in Bloomington, another GCC church.
Harvest Church is affiliated Great Commission Churches (GCC), a US-based fellowship of churches designed to inspire, equip and mobilize churches to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ in the United States and overseas. GCC’s website includes a statement of faith and core values, as well as a list of member churches (www.gccweb.org).
In addition, GCC is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals and the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.Within GCC, Harvest Church is active with Northlands Regional Ministry, which serves churches in these states Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin. We join together with these churches for activities such as marriage and youth conferences, leaders’ retreats, and leadership training.
