OUR VISION: LOVE GOD AND MAKE HIM KNOWN
Our goal is to build a church filled with Christians who have the heart of Jesus.
We encourage each other to not just read the Bible, but obey what it says. We desire to do our best to live out the high calling God has laid out in His Word. Our prayer is that we do the hard work of stepping out of our comfort zone and telling those around us about the amazing work God has, and is doing, in our lives.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
OUR MISSION
As followers of Christ, we are called to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:19-20). We all spend our weeks in different mission fields: our neighborhoods, schools, offices and more, so we come together on Sundays and pray for each other to stir one another up for boldness.
OUR DEVOTION
PRAYER
We strive to be a praying church. Each week, we pray for each other’s needs and praise God for His goodness. We believe the Creator of the Universe hears our prayers (James 5:16).
COMMUNION
We remember what Jesus did on the cross by taking communion together. Each month, we take the Lord’s Supper in a reverent and biblical manner and keep the cross as central. This universal act connects us with believers of the past, and it proclaims the death of Jesus to those observing (1 Cor. 11:23-29).
TEACHING
We come together to teach, learn, and discuss God’s Word on Sundays.
FELLOWSHIP
This takes place before, during, and after our gatherings. In particular, we all share a meal after our gatherings. Also, since we meet in homes in our communities, our fellowship extends beyond Sunday mornings as well (Heb. 10:25).
