1. Leadership/President/etc.

Please pray that the leaders in our country would choose to serve the Lord in righteousness, seek His guidance and that He would give them wisdom.

Psalms 2:10-11
“Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.”
Proverbs 11:14
“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.”
Proverbs 21:1
“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.”

2. Health

Please pray that God would keep our church family and our community healthy. And, more importantly, please pray for the spiritual health in our community, that people everywhere would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! Praise God that He is able to give us eternal life through His Son which is unfathomably better than physical health!

1 John 3:2
“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

3. God has a Plan

Praise God that He has a plan for each of us who are in Christ! It is for our good and His glory!

Romans 8:28
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

4. We need Him

Please pray that we would find our hope and comfort in God. That we would always trust Him, even in the hard times.

We will all go through some tough times, but if we have God on our side we will safely go through them. Is God your savior? You need Him in times like this.

Psalm 91:1-2
“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Psalm 118:6-7

“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me? The Lord is with me; he is my helper.”
Psalm 46:1
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

5. Your Neighbor

Please pray for our neighbors who may also be going through tough times. Pray that God would give us opportunity to practically love and serve them. Ask God that we would look past our own needs and realize the needs of others.

Mark 12:30-31
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Matthew 25:34-40
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
