Pastor Eric J. Berglund
Eric has been involved with the Great Commission Churches (GCC) since 1987. Over the last four decades, he has been actively involved in church activities from teaching Sunday School to leading youth groups to organizing retreats and hosting Bible studies. He served as a deacon for over 15 years at Cottonwood Community Church of Grand Forks, ND. In 2006, he and his wife were sent to pastor Harvest Church. He is known for his practical wisdom and honest transparency. His heart is to see people come to know Jesus as their personal Savior.
Eric has been married to his wonderful wife, Jacki, since 1985. Each week she is busy serving at Harvest and in the community. They are blessed to have five children. Many serve at Harvest and two son-in-laws who lead worship on Sundays. Most of their children live in Warren: Chris, Josh, Britta & Jordon Johnson (Aveya & Rowik), Jessica & Luke Johnson (Kira, Emilyn & Taivin). One son, Tyler, and his wife, Mirna, are living in the Twin Cities and serve at Evergreen Church in Bloomington, another GCC church.
Pastor Peter C. Steele
Peter has a passion for God, His Word and prayer. He is continually challenged to grow deeper in his faith with an ever deepening understanding of his wretchedness and need of a Savior. Peter is focused on leading a church of prayer with a Biblical foundation.
He also has a passion for theology, and can often be found Sunday mornings teaching the depths of God’s word in a way that touches, and challenges the heart to draw near to God. Peter describes himself as ‘desperate for revival’ wanting everyone to come face-to-face with the love, grace and forgiveness offered at the Cross.
Peter is married to his dream girl, Tracy, who home-schools and loves on their five kids: Seraiah, Bella, Curry, Sami and Jax each day.
